A Dior introduction to dance

  • Share this:

To celebrate the most physical and ephemeral of disciplines, Dior invites you to discover on.dior.com/dance the talented dancers and choreographers that have collaborated with the House, and in turn learn something of their craft courtesy of a series of accessible lessons that allow you to recreate their positions and movements in the comfort of your own home. An ode to the joie de vivre and beauty of the body in motion, dance has long been a powerful source of inspiration to the House and its Creative Directors. Dancer Germain Louvet was a star of the Dior Spring Summer 2020 show from Maria Grazia Chiuri held in Shanghai. Choreographer Sébastien Bertaud speaks about his collaborations with Maria Grazia Chiuri – which include the ballet 'Utopia', for which the Creative Director designed costumes imbued with a fairytale magic – and gives a lesson with Friedemann Vogel, a principal dancer with the Stuttgart Ballet. Eleonora Abbagnato, director of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma ballet company, discusses her collaboration with Maria Grazia Chiuri for the exceptional 'Nuit Blanche', also choreographed by Sébastien Bertaud.
